1. What Castline is

Castline is an online marketplace where productions post casting breakdowns and actors, agents and managers submit talent. Castline is not an employer, talent agency or casting company. We do not guarantee auditions, responses, bookings or income.

2. Who can use Castline

You must be 18 or older. A person under 18 may use Castline only through an account created and managed by a parent or legal guardian. The guardian is responsible for everything on that account, must approve all communication, and must be present for any audition, self-tape session or live session. Productions must not contact a minor directly, and all contact goes through the guardian-managed account.

3. Accounts

Give accurate information and keep your password safe. Production accounts are verified by email and may be reviewed by us before breakdowns go live. We may refuse, suspend or remove any account.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of your photos, videos, reels, notes and profile information. You give Castline a non-exclusive license to host, display and share that content with the productions you submit to, as you choose, and to operate and protect the service. You promise you have the right to post it. Agents promise they have each client's permission.

6. Payments

Some features cost money, such as actor memberships (monthly or yearly), the Extras plan for background roles, a one-time fee of $3 to submit to a single casting call without a membership, additional headshots and agent plans. The price is shown before you pay. Memberships and the Extras plan renew automatically until you cancel. A per-submission fee covers that one submission only and does not renew. Your profile and media stay saved if a plan ends, but you cannot submit without an active plan or a per-submission payment. Payments are handled by our payment processor, and we do not store your card number. Posting breakdowns is currently free for productions, and we may change that with notice.

7. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time to stop future renewals. All payments are final, as explained in our Refund Policy.

8. Safety

Use Block and report in any conversation that feels wrong. We may review reports, remove content and suspend accounts. We do not screen every production or actor, so use good judgment, never send money to anyone who contacts you about a role, and meet only in safe, public places.

9. No warranties

Castline is provided as is. Productions are responsible for hiring decisions, pay and working conditions. Actors are responsible for following any union rules that apply to them.

10. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Castline is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for the actions of users. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Your responsibility

You agree to defend and reimburse Castline for claims caused by your content or your breach of these Terms.

12. Ending your account

You can stop using Castline at any time. We may suspend or end accounts that break these Terms.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. If a change is important, we will tell you. Using Castline after a change means you accept it.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your state], and disputes will be heard in the courts there.
